ALAN G. TREMBULAK

Alan represents clients in a wide variety of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, financing, leasing and real estate development. He has considerable experience in zoning and land use matters, representing several local land use boards as well as clients seeking development approvals for commercial and residential projects. Alan’s diverse real estate practice includes the formation of residential and commercial condominiums, preparation of easements and license agreements and real estate litigation.   

Alan has significant experience in municipal law, having served as Montclair Township Attorney and attorney for the Montclair Planning Board. He currently represents several planning boards and boards of adjustment. Alan also provides strategic advice and counsel regarding business transactions, the formation of business entities, commercial contracts, landlord-tenant disputes and municipal court matters, among other things. Applying a diligent, thoughtful and practical approach, combined with almost 40 years of experience, Alan has achieved successful, cost-efficient results for individuals, large and small businesses, and real estate developers who rely upon him for his expertise and pragmatic advice.    

Prior to the Montclair Real Estate Law Group, Alan was a partner in the firm of Ashenfelter Trembulak McDonough Golia & Trevenen LLP and a partner in a Union County general practice law firm. A longtime Montclair resident, Alan continues to be an active member of the community serving on several nonprofit boards and providing pro bono services to civic and community organizations.
